In the final analysis, there are two types of influence one can receive. If one stoops below and allows himself 2 be influenced by something inferior 2 him, then he is getting the ‘wrong direction.’ However, there is no shame in seeking out a teacher or spiritual guide or whatever.
After being properly influenced by bad religion, i will never let anyone influence me again…. wait a second here…. :::scratches his head:::
Excellent song, however it does imply somewhat that we should not be influenced, and I know that is not the message of the song. Direction can be great, we just need 2 properly decide what is the right direction. For example using some lines from the song “Now a confused school-girl stares at the TV tray … And gets ideas from Madonna’s nasty clothes” Madonna is an example of a bad direction while with “No Bad Religion song can make your life complete” Bad Religion is the right direction.
